So I jumped in and took the plunge, and whilst I took a lot of time deciding where everything should go, it ended up being a really simple Layout. There's heaps of new goodies used too.
I've used some ink, cardstock & ribbon in one of the gorgeous New In-Colors - Rich Razzleberry (The other two, Soft Suede & Melon Mambo are wonderful too!)
The long awaited Top Note Die's been cut out using my Big Shot in Kraft Cardstock and only part peeks out below the photo to provide a space for journalling.
Below this is a strip of Whispher White that has been punched with the Scallop Edge Punch & run through the "Polka Dots" Embossing Folder. This together with the strip of Orchid Opulence popped through the crimper add the texture without overpowering the layout.
The Flower & "Love Life" quote comes from the stamp set - Cottage Garden. This quote has been stamped on a piece of Whispher White that has been cut out with a Sizzlet from the set of Lots of Tags. Behind this is a piece of Orchid Opulence that was cut from the Curly Label punch, then cut in half and stuck on so it just peeks out bend the quote.
Finally the Two Step Bird Punch! Love it - as you can see the branch part of this punch is so versatile.
Here's a close up:
We are again offering Blog Candy for our Blog Hop. What you need to do is complete the blog hop until you get back to me. Once you've visited and commented on every blog then you will need to email Sharlene at email@example.com who will then put your name into the draw for the blog candy. There will be one winner from New Zealand and one winner from Australia.
So start hoppin by going to the next blog being Danielle Daws, I really do love her style & am looking forward to hopping over there myself - I do happen to know that she's using the magnificent Medallion Background Stamp.
Happy Blog Hopping,
